Group Fitness Class Descriptions:
*Special Intro to Fitness Classes: Try one of these 30 minute introductory classes and feel the benefits!
F.I.T. (Fitness Interval Training):
Alternate circuits of strength and cardiovascular conditioning, incorporating abs, back and stretch. This class is held in the fitness center.
H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training):
Athletic aerobic conditioning combined with bouts of high intensity movements. This class is sure to improve your fitness level and daily caloric burn. Monday class may also include sessions of R.I.P.P.E.D.
L.I.A.. (Low Impact Aerobics):
30-35 minutes of gentle aerobic movement with simple choreography to follow. End with a relaxing stretch.
Pilates Yoga Fusion:
Through consistent work in Pilates you can lengthen muscles, strengthen the abdominal region, increase flexibility, improve muscular control and enhance athletic/dance performance. Combine this format with Yoga to relax your mind and further increase your range of motion.
R.I.P.P.E.D.:
Experience this total body "plateau proof fitness formula" workout, utilizing resistance and cardio training, which masterfully combines Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, and Diet to help you attain and maintain your physique in ways that are fun, safe, doable and extremely effective. Anyone can do it!
Spinning:
Take yourself to the next fitness level with this energizing and motivating class. Non-impact for all levels.
Strength 'n Conditioning:
Muscle strengthening with an emphasis on the core, pilates and a flexibility session. Some classes will include segments of cardiovascular conditioning. Variety is the spice of this class!
Strength Training:
A weight training program focusing on increases in bone density and overall well-being.
Wellness/Chair Yoga:
A slower paced yoga class. Spend more time on each yoga pose.
Yoga:
A gentle, inward experience. Centering, pranayama and safe techniques are taught using relaxing music. Chair Yoga use the chair as a prop for modifications. Chair yoga uses the chair as a prop for modifications.
Zumba!:
Instructors will help you dance your way to fitness with this fun and easy dance class. This class is great for toning and cardio! All levels welcome.
